Art Rogers- Chatham Village Bears creates each one to make you smile – with interesting fabrics, unique and contemporary designs. Art is obsessed with creating bears and other soft sculptured creatures. All of his creations are from his original designs and made of the finest materials. Art uses many traditional techniques and fabrics but does not hesitate to try something new and different.
I would like to congratulate Art for his acceptance in NIADA. NIADA encourages accomplished artists who create entirely original art dolls to strive for the finest realization of their talents. NIADA Artist Membership is awarded through a Three-Part Application Process.

16” Cream & White Pygmy Goat
15” This hybrid is a cross between a wild cat and a domestic cat. He has 6 joints, hand sewn leather paw pads and is completely wired and moveable including his tail. He is made from a wonderful soft faux fur and has hand painted glass eyes inset in a needle felted face. Airbrushing details give him a life like appearance.
This beautiful fawn is life size. She is made of Tissavel and has a needle felted face with airbrushed features. Her jointed legs and head are wired for great posing. She can only be posed laying down (not standing) on a flat surface, hearth or mantle. I use taxidermy eyes and leather for the nose and hooves.
The baby fawn is 21” long laying down.
